Doctor Dolittle first hit the bit screen in the 1967 musical Doctor Dolittle, directed by Richard Fleischer.

In The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, the Iron Man star will follow in the footsteps of Rex Harrison and Eddie Murphy in the role of a physician who lives with a variety of animals that he's able to talk to. The actor and MCU superstar has signed on to headline The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, in which he'll play the titular protagonist, previously portrayed on the big screen by Rex Harrison and Eddie Murphy, in a new film from the director of Gold. The film is an adaptation of the near century-old book series by Hugh Lofting about a doctor who can speak to animals. The Fox film was a success and resulted in four sequels, although several went direct-to-video. The upcoming film is to be helmed by Stephen Gaghan (Syriana), who won an Oscar for best adapted screenplay for Traffic in 2011.

But Orient owe money to four other creditors, including an event management firm who say they are owed about £18,000 by the club. The judge, Registrar Nicholas Briggs, had analysed the case at a Bankruptcy and Companies Court hearing in London.

Downey will next be seen in this summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming as well as Avengers: Infinity War the following year. Or, at least we hope so.
