This is Jeff Bezos riding a giant robot

He may be incredibly wealthy, follicly challenged, and have a reputation for being an uncrompomsing businessman, but that's where Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos's similarities with Superman nemesis Lex Luthor ends. While he looks happy and excited, it's hard not to mistake him for Superman's biggest villain, Lex Luthor. Bezos asked the audience, referring to the actress's lead role in "Alien".

The Method-2 robot is a product of the South Korean company, Hankook Mirae Technology. "Kneel, peasants! (then lets out a maniacal laugh)", but that would've revealed his identity.

Bezos tweeted a picture of himself piloting the huge 13ft tall Method-2 robot on 19 March on stage at Amazon's secret invite-only conference MARS 2017, which is an "annual gathering of thought-leaders in machine learning, home automation, robotics and space exploration".

The suit used by Jeff Bezos was created by robotics expert Vitaly Bulgarov, who worked previously as a concept artist on Michael Bay's Sci-fi action film "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction", Paul Verhoeven's "Robocop", and James Cameron's "Terminator".

Following the transaction, the vice president now directly owns 4,794 shares in the company, valued at approximately $461,566.32. In a transaction on 2016-08-25, the company's SR VP and General Counsel Stanley John D. sold 17,247 company shares for 2680010.

There has been speculation as to whether the robot can actually walk and is fully functional, but a report from phys.org from December said the manned Method-2 robot had taken its first steps. Bezos says in a video clip captured by MIT's food of the future researcher Caleb Harper, one of the lucky attendees, as he tests swinging the robot suit's arms around. People thought it was a hoax back in December, but today's videos and images prove it's real.
