Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 blasts off with $145M debut

This year, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which debuted to $145-M from 4,347 theaters over the weekend, more than 54% ahead of the 1st film for an early global total of $427.6-M.
