Manchester United staff will not attend Europa League final

13 May 2017

Mourinho hailed his players for the attitude they showed as they came through to seal a spot in a final he feels can be a "perfect" end to the season, with Champions League football on offer for the victor in Stockholm.

United centre-back Eric Bailly was sent off during Thursday's 1-1 draw with Celta and Mourinho said the unlikelihood of lauching a successful appeal meant he was resigned to being without the Ivorian for the final.

Both players will now be suspended for the final in Stockholm against Ajax on May 24. "But if I was on your side, in your chair, I think it is (fair)". Defeat, however, would see United back in the Europa League while probably finishing sixth in the Premier League, which would be seen as a huge underachievement given Mourinho's reputation and the £150 million he spent in the transfer market last summer.

"Their [Ajax] league finishes on Sunday and they will have 12 days to prepare for the final and we have three Premier League matches to play", he is quoted as saying by ESPN FC.

Ashley's mother told her to pursue modelling
Ashley Graham's mother convinced her not to give up modelling when she wanted to walk away from the runways and the flashbulbs. She says; "Constant criticism - that was my dad through and through, My father was a master of the cutting insult.

" We lose a very important player for the final and we don't have many."

Romero has deputised for usual number one David de Gea in the Europa League, playing 11 games to the Spaniard's three, and Mourinho said there was "no dilemma" about who will start between the posts against Ajax. I have to play them by periods and I don't have another solution. In fact, since winning the title with Chelsea in 2014-15, Mourinho has won just 22 of his 52 Premier League matches.

"We performed much better here than United did in the first leg". If we win the Europa League I am more than happy. "We played, we tried to win and that's what we are going to do". After the match, Mourinho admitted - not that he had to, because it was obvious from his team selection - he had conceded fourth position to focus on the Europa League.

"And if we win the trophy, David wins the trophy because he played matches against Feyenoord and against Fenerbahce". And nobody can blame us, because we have a final three days later. They are two fantastic goalkeepers.

Stolen spy tool used in massive global cyber attack
The head of the UK's cyber security agency said experts were "working round the clock" to restore NHS systems. On Wednesday, hackers disputed the websites of several French media companies and aerospace giant Airbus.

"We are speaking about Argentina's national goalkeeper and Spain's national goalkeeper but they are such friends and support each other all the time". I never saw a bad face. They covered every blade of grass and the connection they made with the fans who travelled from Galicia, I'm proud of all that.

United have moved to maximise tickets for their fans by holding an event for staff at Old Trafford rather than taking them to Sweden.

Leading 1-0 from last week's first leg in Vigo, United doubled their advantage in the 17th minute when first-leg match-winner Marcus Rashford crossed for Marouane Fellaini to head home.

Cyber attack spreads across 74 countries; United Kingdom hospitals worst hit
Even as the exact number of countries affected is yet to be determined, the attack is unprecedented in scale, experts say. At least 16 organisations within the NHS, some of them responsible for several hospitals each, reported being targeted.
