India hopes for sovereign, independent, united Palestine: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas here ahead of India-Palestine delegation-level talks. And we hope to see the realisation of a sovereign, independent, united and viable Palestine, co-existing peacefully with Israel.

On his part, Modi stated Abbas' visit to India reflects close Palestinian-Indian relationship on the bases of mutual cooperation and understanding.
