NY judge Garcia uninterested in FBI director job

"I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go", Trump told Comey, according to a memo Comey wrote at the time, excerpts of which leaked to reporters on Tuesday.

This move, coming hot on the heels of reports on Tuesday evening that Comey kept memos detailing his conversations with Trump. Comey created documenting what he perceived as the president's improper efforts to influence a continuing investigation.
