At a hearing on Wednesday to determine if Fisher should be punished, a New Hampshire legislative committee voted eight to six along party lines in favor of no action being taken when a full House votes on the matter next month.

The resignation was announced shortly after members of the House Legislative Administration Committee voted to recommend no action be taken against Fisher for his comments.

"It is unfortunate that the debate surrounding his actions while serving in the house have detracted from the good things that we have accomplished this session", the Republican Speaker wrote.

Nick Grimshaw's breakfast show receives record-low listener numbers
We've got some bad news for Nick Grimshaw , as listening figures for his Radio 1 Breakfast Show have dropped to all-time low. Kent's only truly local radio station increased its audience for the second consecutive period, according to RAJAR.

Rep. Sherman Packard, R-Londonderry, made the motion that the committee recommend no action against either lawmaker, said he didn't believe the committee could recommend they be censured, reprimanded or expelled based on the constitutionally protected right of free speech. According to the Daily Beast, he said under oath that it had been years since he'd taken an active part in the forum's conversations. When they read the decision, women in the audience began yelling "Shame!"

Despite the Daily Beast's two feature stories connecting details of Fisher's life to the anonymous accounts running the subreddit, Fisher previously denied his connection to "The Red Pill". At the time I said we'd check back as updates came in, and now we have a whopper of an update.

House Democratic Leader Rep. Stephen Shurtleff, of Penacook, thanked New Hampshire residents for their support. The unrelenting pressure and the threat of an Attorney General investigation into whether he perjured himself finally pushed him to resign.

GOP lawmaker raises option of impeaching Trump over Comey
This all plays out against another political reality: Trump's base is, by all accounts, as strongly behind him as ever. The actual memos were delivered to Congress days later and inspired claims that Nixon had obstructed justice.

"The Speaker and the House gave us one charge and one charge only", Hinch said.

"At the end of the day there was no good way to come out of this", Hinch said afterward.

The committee's task was freakish, as they heard two very different cases, and chose rule on both as one (despite vehement from the committee vice-chair and House Minority Leader, Democrat Steve Shurtleff).

PTI submits resolution against ICJ stay on Kalbushan's execution in Punjab Assembly
Japan did, however, reduce the number of whales it kills each season to 333, down by two-thirds from previous illegal hunts. The only condition under which Jadhav now stands to face execution is if Pakistan does not comply with the ICJ's decision.

In a statement to the media, Granite State Progress executive director Zandra Rice-Hawkins echoed Buckley's sentiments saying, "We are pleased that Rep. Fisher finally resigned" and went on to state they "remain concerned that just minutes before his resignation, the NH GOP sent a loud message that it will work to provide political cover for individuals like Fisher who promote rape culture and misogyny". "Hopefully his resignation will make it clear to those defending his actions that misogyny and degradation of women is not acceptable in New Hampshire".
