A statewide amber alert is now in effect after a vehicle was stolen in Jackson with a 6-year-old boy inside.
Three suspects have been arrested after Kingston Frazier was allegedly kidnapped and killed in Gluckstadt, around 20 miles north of Jackson, Mississippi, on Thursday (18 May). The child was left alone in the vehicle with the engine on while the mother went inside the supermarket at about 1:15 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. EDT) Thursday.
"7-year-old Frazier Kingston was last seen at the Kroger Grocery Store at 4910 I-55 North. Kingston is a black male with black hair, brown eyes, 3'9", and 40 pounds.
The child, Kingston Frazier, was in a Toyota Camry at about 1:15 a.m. CDT (0615 GMT) outside a Kroger store in Jackson while his mother was inside.
The district attorney also said it was possible the charges might change, adding the three were expected to make initial court appearances on Monday [Tuesday NZT].
18-year-old DeAllen Washington was arrested on Thursday afternoon by Hinds County Sheriff's Deputies. No further information in the incident was immediately available.

The family of 6-year-old Kingston Frazier says he was found in Greenwood.
Three suspects are in police custody.
Police said a multi-jurisdictional investigation is underway.
