UK police: 'A number of fatalities' at Grande concert

North West Ambulance Service said it had taken 59 casualties to various hospitals and treated a number of walking wounded at the scene.

Two of Ariana Grande's backup dancers from Strongsville, Ohio are safe following a deadly attack at a concert in Manchester, U.K. on Monday. I lay her down, she'd got a stomach wound and possibly a broken leg.

The explosion happened just after the end of the show, and the location - the foyer just in front of the arena where attendees were exiting - is an area outside the arena's main security checkpoints. The blast killed 19 people and injured dozens more.

People who had loved ones at the concert have been tweeting out details if they haven't been able to get in touch with them.

Grande was performing in Manchester during the European leg of a concert tour to support her latest album, "Dangerous Woman".

Several blocks away, on the city's main High Street, is the Holiday Inn Express, where according to early reports online, as many as 50 unaccompanied children - who became separated from their parents during the ensuing commotion - are being cared for by staff and locals.

Grande, the 23-year-old pop singer, was in the midst of her worldwide tour supporting her 2016 album, Dangerous Woman.

The pop singer launched her career as a teen, snagging a role in the Broadway play "13" before she landed the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon television series "Victorious".

The tour began in Phoenix in February.
