Global electronics giant Amazon has unveiled its latest smart speaker with a touchscreen. It's now available on the Amazon site for pre-order with a price tag of $229.99, which is about €210. Like previous models, it supports voice commands allowing you to play music, control smart devices around your home, make a shopping list, weather forecast and so on. Its price tag will reflect this distinction, with The Wall Street Journal claiming that the new Amazon Echo will be sold for more than $200. The Show will also be able to play content from YouTube and other applications on the internet.
The Amazon Echo Show features a 7 inch touchscreen display and it comes with Alexa and has a number of new functions over the current Alexa enabled devices, have a look at the video below.

The Echo Show has been priced at $ 229.99 (Rs 20,000 approx) for a single unit and $ 359.98 (Rs 23,000 approx) for two, which is a decent price.
This touch screen makes it possible to make video calls by using the Alexa App. When it comes to the video calling feature, consumers will be enabled to call anyone with an Echo device or a smartphone which has the Alexa app installed. The users on the other side can now choose to answer such calls only via voice.
Amazon has been releasing new Echo products in quick succession over the past few months.
