By the time Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals was over, the other Cleveland All-Star led the Cavaliers to a 112-99 win against the Celtics and a 3-1 lead in the series.

The Boston Celtics are facing elimination in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals Thursday night, and if that wasn't enough of a challenge, the C's will have to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers with a few of their players battling injuries. He capped his blistering 19-point outburst with a 3 in the final second of the quarter and celebrated at mid-court by pretending to put two pistols back in his holster.

Kevin Love backed Irving and James with 17 points and 17 rebounds, and Tristan Thompson added seven points and seven rebounds.

Boston shot 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from the 3-point line in the first half of Game 4 on their way to building as much as a 16-point lead. Then Irving took over during the third quarter, and James closed the door on Boston during the closing minutes.

The team that the Cavaliers saw in Game 3, otherwise known as Game 1 A.T., was one led by Thomas's replacement, Marcus Smart. He had 10 points on 5-9 shooting in the first half, but zero free-throws and he looked like he completely lost his 3. Toronto played him differently and so did Boston, but we knew he wouldn't shoot the ball the way he shot it the first couple games.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers are now just one win away from the NBA Finals after their comeback win in Game 4.

That was when Irving was openly taunting the Celtics with his smorgasbord of sick shot-making.

The crowd gasped in horror when Irving, while completing one of his whirling dervish, flabbergasting finishes at the rim, stepped on the foot of Terry Rozier and twisted his ankle. Thomas did not return in the second half due to a strained right hip. His game was built for it, and I'm happy, like I said, to be able to, I guess, sit back with four fouls and see him do what he's always been built to do. "We had to be able to face adversity, look it in the face, and say, 'You're not going to win today'". We've got a lot of guys with a lot of playoff minutes who've been in situations like that before.

"We have to go in with a bunker mentality that we had in Game 1 and Game 2, to go out and do what we do, but we have to defend", James said.
