Comeback Cavs end Warriors perfect postseason in Game 4

10 June 2017

"We always talked about it - loose but disciplined", Kevin Durant said Thursday before adding, ominously, "Sometimes we go too far on the side of loose".

Golden State's ideal postseason is over.

This discussion, as I've said many times, is pointless, and Reggie Miller made the point in 2016 that it's not fair to ask competitive former National Basketball Association players if their teams would beat the Warriors because of course they'd say yes.

Over the last three years, Stephen Curry has won a ton of games with the Golden State Warriors.

"It's part of the rules", James said. I don't care. It's great for our league. It's great for our league.

"When I look back at it, I was like, 'Oh, I didn't even know this happened, '" he said. They have a core of four All-NBA players in their prime and a fairly simple path to keeping them together. Now, he's giving that title to LeBron James, 32, of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Comey testimony raises questions over Trump acts amid Russian Federation probe
Comey also refused to characterize anything the president had done as being against the law. The Hill's Morgan Chalfant has the five takeaways from Comey's dramatic testimony here.

"We understand who they have on their team and what they're about and how established they are, but I think that in those three losses we lost track of who we were at the time". "You got to give them credit, they played extremely well tonight". I think it's gonna go seven.

With that, James walked off the dais, ending a news conference in which he addressed the dawn of Golden State's dynasty, his future and criticism for a play late in Wednesday's loss.

Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 40 points and LeBron James chipped in with 31 as the defending champions pulled to within 3-1 and forced the best-of-seven series back to Oakland. The last three minutes were spent on the wrong end of an 11-0 Warriors run, and what was in many ways a remarkable Cleveland performance will be remembered for the 180 seconds of crashing and burning that will surely cost the Cavaliers any chance to win a second consecutive titles.

But except for an exaggerated yawn before taking the first question, James was upbeat, satisfied that he has done everything within his power to slow the Warriors, who have toyed with the field for weeks.

The Cavaliers set a Finals record with 49 points in the first quarter and led by 16 when it was over. Now, a fourth one seems almost as distant with the scary-good Warriors just getting started.

"I thought they called it on Draymond; I thought I deserved it", Kerr said of the first-quarter call.

Trump flatly denies Comey accusations, willing to respond under oath
But he says President Trump never told Mr Comey: "I need loyalty, I expect loyalty", in form or substance, as Mr Comey claimed. Senator Risch said: "We know exactly what happened at these meetings because of your contemporaneous notes and quotes".

Lebron James passed Magic Johnson with the most triple-doubles in NBA Finals history, posting his ninth Friday night. "They also just caught some in rhythm and knocked them down".

Durant is averaging 34 points, 10 rebounds and 6.0 assists in the Finals, joining Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal as the only players with at least 25 points in their first eight Finals games.

"Just the combination of offense and defense, the talent that they've been able to amass, it puts them in position where this is a dynasty to me", ABC analyst Jeff Van Gundy said before the NBA Finals.

"It's the Finals everybody is heated, everybody wants to win". Now Cleveland, which previous year became the first team to recover from a 3-1 Finals deficit, faces historically long odds again.

Cleveland led by six points with three minutes to play but Durant led an impressive 11-0 run to secure the win. Durant will make approximately 200 shots on a given day.

"And now that you can look ahead to Friday, all our focus is on that", Curry said. No I hear you but here's the thing Rick it's not like LeBron and again he's been the de facto general manager this team as well.

Green stays in Game 4 after technical foul fiasco
Watch the full video up top and get ready to take some notes because they get very real about how to succeed on and off the court. The right team won Game 4, and any bleating about the officials changing the game misses the greater point.
