BSNL introduces 4GB mobile broadband per day for Rs 444

Reliance Jio impact: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new tariff plan called Chaukka444 where it gives its subscribers unlimited data for a period of 90 days. Telecos like BSNL, Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel have unveiled new plans, which do not just offer data at affordable tariffs, but are being bundled with unlimited voice calling and messages as well. "We offer best prices to our customers considering present trend of Indian telecom industry". Under the newly launched offer, BSNL is offering 4GB data per day at 3G speeds priced at Rs 444 with 90 days validity. BSNL's "Triple ACE" STV was also a special promotional offer, in which the company offered its customer 3GB data per day. Under this recharge, the telecom operator offered 3 GBs of data per day.

Under the scheme, one gigabyte of 3G mobile data will cost less than a rupee - the lowest in the sector.

The new offers come at a time when nearly all telecom operators are offering bundled plans with 1-2GB data usage with unlimited voice service to take of Reliance Jio, which is offering daily data with bundled voice and digital services through its Dhana Dhan Dhan plans for 90 days. Reported by PTI, Reliance Jio is the cheapest service provider in India in terms of data tariff for its prepaid and postpaid customers. The plan is for prepaid users and comes with 84days validity.
