Former AG Loretta Lynch must testify

17 June 2017

I base this analysis on several things.

The juxtaposition underscores the political nature of the ongoing controversy regarding the Russian Federation probe, which former Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper said last week was worse than Watergate, a scandal that led to then-President Richard Nixon's resignation.

At best the demoralized characterization must be viewed as a difference of opinion. "And Mr. Comey was concerned that a Democratic attorney general was asking him to be misleading and line up his talking points with Mrs. Clinton's campaign, according to people who spoke with him afterward".

It's obvious that you Comey-worshippers are so intent to discredit everything Trump, that you are genuflecting at a hero of your own making who is fatally flawed.

Gianforte sentenced to complete community service after report assault
That set off a short and intense special election campaign that drew millions of dollars in donations from across the U.S. Nancy Keenan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, said in a statement that Gianforte should resign.

During the hearing, Comey confirmed that Lynch had directed him to refer to the FBI's probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private use of an email server as a "matter" and not an "investigation", an anecdote reported by The New York Times in April. And since what's past is prologue, let's put current events in the context of how Feinstein reacted to a different FBI investigation which was taking place in the summer of 2016.

Jordan shot back that perhaps it was misleading to refer to the Clinton investigation as a "matter" while refusing to clarify that President Trump was not under investigation.

The president added that he is " willing to testify about his interactions with Comey under oath. He is a good guy. Instead he did exactly as he was told - queasy feeling or no queasy feeling.

Senator Jack Reed confronted him with the inconsistencies in his perceptions of Comey's handling of the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal (from July and October when he was on Fox News saying Comey was doing a great job and the problemwas Hillary not him to him agreeing with Rosenstein that Comey was careless).

May inches toward deal as Brexit battle rages
A deal with the DUP also risks destabilising Northern Ireland by increasing the influence of pro-British unionists. DUP leader Arlene Foster says her party are "ready to dance" but are just waiting for May to make them an offer.

"The investigation is the biggest political scandal since Watergate. a criminal massive enterprise and cover-ups like probably nobody ever before.it would create an unprecedented and protracted constitutional crisis".

When Trump requested loyalty from Comey, the latter had to look that word up in the dictionary. The decision not to recommend charges against Clinton was ultimately made by Comey alone. And on "The View" a few days after the hearing, frequent Trump proxy Newt Gingrich cast doubt on Comey's reliability because a recently fired ex-employee might be "disgruntled", while also claiming Comey's testimony was exonerating.

Reince Priebus, then the chairman of the Republican National Committee, echoed his boss' claim, saying the probe itself served as "another reminder that Hillary Clinton can not be trusted with the presidency".

Will LeBron James win another title with the Cavs? Bud vs. Doug
While I still hoped and believed Lebron could lift the Cavaliers to another championship, in reality, they never had a chance. He's the only true hired gun on Golden State, although Iguodala was also an outside hire and once the best player on teams.
