Bill Cosby's attorney says he is worried about entertainer's health

Cosby was accused of drugging and sexually violating Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004.

Jurors deliberated more than 52 hours over six days before a judge declared a mistrial for the 79-year-old comedian on Saturday.

VETERAN American entertainer Bill Cosby walked home a freeman yesterday after a USA judge declared a mistrial in his sex assault case.

Kristina Ruehli said she "was particularly nauseated" with a statement Saturday from Cosby's wife, Camille, criticizing prosecutors, the judge and media.

Legal experts had always warned that the "he said, she said" nature of the case was going to be hard to prove in court, not least because it happened so long ago and lacked physical evidence.

Chloe Goins, a former model who said Mr Cosby drugged and sexually abused her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008, is also suing the comedian on sexual battery and other claims.

She said that she hoped prosecutors tried the case again and that the court permits more accusers as witnesses. However, it looks as if those deciding Cosby's fate are hopelessly deadlocked.

Cosby's lawyers have said he and Constand were lovers and that the encounter was consensual.

According to the documents, lawyer Dolores Troiani asked Cosby: "When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?" His attorneys have said throughout that their client is innocent of all accusations.
