Durant joins Jordan and Shaq for a slice of NBA Finals history

19 June 2017

After the Golden State Warriors knocked out the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals Monday night, James was asked if he believes the league benefits from superstar players joining forces to chase titles. Kevin Durant and Steph Curry deserve the spotlight and then some, but there's a behind-the-scenes member of the franchise who's piqued our interest following the Warriors' big win.

There's a belief to some in which James is better off just not advancing to the Finals due to the dynastic potential of the Golden State Warriors and how they're really light years ahead of teams.

"I kept building on that from day one", Durant said. "Nobody's comfortable in engaging in a conversation". His transformation wasn't any more evident than in Game 5, as he shot a dominant 70 percent from the field en route to a team-high 39 points to lead the Warriors to a 129-120 title-clinching win.

Welts is often the public face of the team.

If Stephen Curry demands every penny of the five-year, $205 million extension he's eligible to receive this offseason from Golden State, the Warriors are prepared to fork it over.

Target and Aldi have also been introducing more discounts to compete with chains such as Wal-Mart, which are known for low prices. In Whole Foods , Amazon is acquiring a company that has recently come under pressure from investors for its lagging performance.

Congratulations to the Warriors for their enormous win, and to Welts for helping to move the needle on acceptance within professional sports.

"To have teammates that encourage you, that lift you up, that's what we all need in life", he said.

"We learned from everything we've been through", Curry said during the trophy celebration.

Heavy favorites since training camp in October, the Warriors dominated this season's Western Conference and were on the brink of an unprecedented 16-game undefeated sweep through the playoffs before dropping game four to the Cavaliers on Friday in Cleveland.

Durant ripped out the hearts of Oklahoma City Thunder fans a year ago by leaving for the Oakland-based Warriors, which many considered the easiest route to an National Basketball Association title.

London fire: 58 presumed dead in Grenfell Tower blaze, say police
Elsewhere, an angry protester attempted to rally the large crowd to march on the Prime Minister's residence on Downing Street. The 24-story Grenfell Tower in the north Kensington neighbourhood in west London is near several major transport hubs.

"The last couple of days I've thought about it", he said.

Curry sank a contested 3-pointer with less than a minute remaining in the game to hammer in the final nail in the Cavaliers' coffin. "This is something that we want to continue to do, but for us to have these conversations that we had nearly a year ago and now being in this position, worth every shot we took in practice, fighting through injuries that he had this year, and it's an unbelievable feeling".

But assembling great players has never been a guarantee of instant success as too many star players can sometimes create issues with how the ball should get distributed. "I'm just so happy to be a part of it".

"I'm planning to coach for a long time", Kerr said, via ESPN. "He had an awesome series, just dominated".

"We're a resilient team", Love said.

Ronaldo played under fellow compatriot Jose Mourinho at Santiago Bernabeu and Manchester United could still afford his services. Not because they can't pay the money but because they need to offer him the possibility of winning titles and personal awards".
