Knicks fans don't seem to mind Frank Ntilikina pick at No. 8

24 June 2017

With the futures of both Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis somewhat uncertain, the New York Knicks came into the 2017 NBA Draft hoping to find themselves a victor.

Ntilikina was born in Belgium (originating from Rwanda) and was raised in France, where he helped the French U16 team win the FIBA 2014 European Championships and the French U18 team to a title in the FIBA 2016 European Championships.

8 pick in Thursday's NBA Draft on French import Frank Ntilikina.

Should Democrats be anxious about their losing streak?
Seth Moulton, D-Mass., who also attended the meeting, said, "in every corner of our caucus, we're concerned". Keep raising the concern that something needs to change within the ranks of the party's leadership.

From Woj: Sources: As teams become aware Phil Jackson isn't ruling out possibility of trading Kristaps Porzingis, frenzy of interest is growing today.

The Knicks are definitely in an unenvious position as it will be very hard for them to lure other big names to play for them.

However, Porzingis got on Jackson's bad side when he skipped out on his end-of-season exit interviews with Knicks management. Jackson declined to discuss the Porzingis trade talks on Thursday, instead choosing to focus on Ntilikina.

40 days later Trump admits: No Comey tapes
Mr Comey has suggested that the tweet prompted him to ask an associate to release damaging information to The New York Times . At an off-camera briefing for White House reporters, spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders attempted to put the issue to bed.

"We've expressed the fact that we haven't been successful and it might be time for (Carmelo) to find an opportunity to go somewhere else", Jackson said. After struggling for much of his career, he seemed to click this season, improving immensely from behind the arc.

Ntilikina has a 7-foot wingspan and projects as a strong defender. Jackson singled out his defensive ability when discussing the reasons behind selecting him. "He's up court playing full-court defense. He thinks that's a big part of who he is".

According to ESPN's Ian Begley, the Celtics are trying to acquire a second lottery pick they can flip to the Knicks in a deal for Porzingis.

Escalation in Syria: US Downs Syrian Plane, Iran Launches Missiles at ISIS
This month, an American F-15E shot down an Iranian-made drone after it attacked American fighters in southeastern Syria . But in a major escalation, the USA shot down a Syrian fighter jet it said was targeting its Kurdish allies on Sunday.

While Ntilikina needs some work and is anything but a polished prospect, he has all the tools necessary to become an effective National Basketball Association player with some development. But he hopes to leave a better legacy than Weis, who never played for the Knicks and ended up on the wrong end of an astounding Vince Carter dunk in the 2000 Olympics. That's all I can say to them. Jackson appears to be attempting another rebuild.
