Trump's presidency has made it possible for this guy to run for a Senate seat earnestly, if you can even use that word in the same sentence as Kid Rock.

The famous rocker ― who also goes by "Detroit cowboy", "American badass" or simply "the Kid" ― hinted at a bid for a Senate seat in MI by tweeting to his fans that the website is real.

Mauger added it's also unusual that Kid Rock did not include a campaign donation section on his website, especially considering the attention his social media posts have gotten. It also offers such slogans as "Party to the People", "I'll Rock the Party" and "Pimp of the Nation".

"I'll bet you he would generate as much excitement as Trump did", he told the daily.

Kid Rock has confirmed his intention to try and become the senator for MI. A representative for the Michigan Republican Party said that there had been no conversations with him on this matter.

A picture of a sign with the message "Kid Rock for US Senate" circulated the internet this week, leaving many wondering if it was real? If it's true, Rock will be running against incumbent Democrat Debbie Stabenow; on Twitter on Wednesday, she acknowledged the rumor, saying, "I know we both share a love of music".

Kid Rock took part part in the Michigan Republican Party convention back in February, and was mooted as a potential candidate for State Senator.

Initially a Ben Carson supporter, he switched affiliations in January 2016 when he told Rolling Stone he was "digging Trump".

In addition, "high quality person" is a odd thing to say about one's own son, but as it turns out, #45 uses the compliment a lot. Now, Ryan claims the question of whether he'd accept campaign help from foreign operatives is a "hypothetical".
