HMD Global launches 2 Nokia feature phones starting at $14.50

First using nostalgia in order to remind the public that it still exists, Nokia continued on to release Android-powered and budget-friendly Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, before introducing Nokia 6. It is to cater to such users that HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has announced a new, refreshed third generation Nokia 105.

Over the last few months, we have come across various leaked benchmark listings as well as rumors that revealed a few key details regarding the Nokia 9, expected to be HMD Global's flagship Nokia-branded smartphone for 2017.

Many Nokia fans are very excited about this news and even if the majority are just speculations, they can not wait for the smartphone's official release. The phones are equipped with 1.8-inch color screens. Coming out into the markets with a 1.8 inched QVGA screen, this phone also runs on the series 30 platform from Nokia, along with the same 4MB RAM. The phone gets its juices from 800 mAh battery, which claims to deliver a talk time of up to 15 hours, and standby times of up to 31 days for the Single SIM and 25 days for the Dual SIM variant. The device also has FM radio inbuilt and there is also 3.5mm audio jack and micro-USB 2.0 ports.

The latest version of the feature phone has a decent 1.8-inch display which is much bigger than its previous editions and is a much needed improvement so that users could use the phone easily. The smartphone is expected to be priced over Rs 40,000. It may also feature a 5.3 inch WQHD display. Both are available in single and dual SIM variants. The phone will come with dual camera sensors with Zeiss-branded hardware. "Add to that classic, timeless looks and you have what is simplya great phone - the Nokia 105". The phone packs a 4MB RAM, 8MB storage, and a microSD card slot allowing for expansion up to 32GB.
