'The Bachelorette' finale: Who the former contestants think will win

08 August 2017

The 32-year-old Texan-born beauty made it clear she was looking for an engagement when the finale rolled around, and ultimately it was Bryan who was on the same page as her. At long last, though, the finale is nigh, unless, of course, the producers figure out a way to make the finale into a cliffhanger, too.

Now that she's chosen her fiancé, real life can begin.

And on the after show, it definitely seemed like these two are about to live happily ever after.

There have been other signs that Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo could be on shaky ground. She says there were a lot of deep rooted issues and that they were in different places.

Trump's Running In 2020
What is "absolutely true", she said , "is that the vice-president prepares for 2020 to be re-elected as vice-president". In a statement , Mr Pence said the New York Times report was "disgraceful and offensive" and "categorically false".

He seems as if he still isn't ready to propose because he says it is something he only wants to do once. Peter (to no surprise) accepts the overnight offer and whisks her away to (hopefully) overcome his doubts. Oh sure, blame the victim. "And Rachel wants to think she made the right one".

"It's hard to say goodbye when I have such strong feelings for you", she told Bigger.

There are three men left and Rachel clearly only has a connection with two of them. "You are so easy and effortless to love, and I just want to love you the rest of my life".

Personally, I was realy hoping for Eric - so honest! "I'm living my best life", she told Kraus as she turned toward host Chris Harrison. And with that, the couple heads off to the Fantasy Suite.

The chill of the water had apparently numbed Sam's feet enough to where he didn't feel any bites while he was standing in the bay. Stevens said a friend of his had recently left the water with blood on his feet much like Kanizay.

While we don't see much of her date with Bryan, we see plenty of her date with Peter, which consists of them in a church, talking to a priest and discussing the future. "In my final decision, I just went with my heart and the person I found my forever with". She is smitten. Who wouldn't fall for a guy who called her "Big Rach"?

Peter and Rachel had a little bit of a clash before they finally split up. Seeing Peter cry, wonder if something was wrong with him, and then have to face Rachel again on the after show? Bryan - the man who consumes Rachel's face whenever they're making out, so it looks like, as my friend says, "a dementor sucking the soul out of a handsome and innocent muggle" - and Rachel are engaged. They enjoy breakfast together and Peter tells her he feels great about them but Rachel feels they are still on opposite sides when it comes to the proposal and is concerned about picking someone who doesn't want to propose to her. Honestly, though, no one can. When asked where the couple will live, Bryan told Harrison, "We're still trying to figure it out". No one in America buys this, not even Bryan's mom.

Following a visit from famed jeweler Neil Lane, Bryan met Rachel atop a picturesque Spanish estate with a diamond ring in hand.

"Rachel really didn't know who to choose".
