Fired Google Engineer Feels 'Betrayed' Over Anti-Diversity Memo: 'They Shamed Me'

James Damore, 28, tells Bloomberg his 3,300-word memo-blasting "unfair" diversity policies on the basis that biological and psychological differences with men make women ill-suited for tech jobs-had been circulating at Google for a month before he was contacted by superiors. "This person is bad.' But they don't really want to have a debate on why I'm wrong, or even confront me, they just want to show how self-righteous they are", Damore said.
