A BOY aged three died after a bungling nursery worker left him in a hot van for more than 11 hours, police in Florida said.
Police believe that Miles death was heat related but are awaiting the autopsy. On Monday, there was a high temperature in Orlando when this incident took place, the high temperature was around 93 degrees Fahrenheit.
The chief said a daycare worker picked up Myles and other children to take them to another Little Miracles Academy during the morning. Day care drivers must have a valid Florida driver's license, an annual physical exam, and valid first aid and CPR training certificates.
Little Miracles Academy then "acknowledged the proper procedure would be followed".
