Did the Game Of Thrones director just reveal Jaime Lannister's fate?

13 August 2017

The war in Westeros rages on in "Game of Thrones" season 7, and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is the only one who is preparing to fight the real threat that everyone will eventually have to face. Jon, Daenerys, Cersei, Varys are all brooding, talking, looking utterly bored in upcoming episode, Eastwatch.

Next week's Game Of Thrones episode looks like it's going to be a doozy!

"Having said that, the battle one wasn't put together and all the elements weren't in place and the music wasn't there and so forth".

The heart-pounding battle scene was brilliant - with Dany swooping over the Lannister army, raining down fire - but it also made us realise how divided our loyalties are.

From The Battle of the Bastards, Blackwater to Hardhome, "Game of Thrones" always gets it right with its battles.

Kim Jong Un doesn't need to strike Guam - he's already won
Tensions between the USA and North Korea ratcheted up on Friday , as President Donald Trump doubled down on military threats. At the same time, Beijing will respond if the US and South Korea strike first and try to overthrow the North Korean regime.

In addition to the promo for Season 7, episode 5, HBO has released eight new photos for "Eastwatch", which can be viewed below.

I use the word "saved" loosely here, because as the two men plunged into the water, the last shot we saw on our TV screens was that of Jaime sinking like a stone to the bottom of that black water (pun intended).

"You need to find a way to make her listen", Varys (Conleth Hill) tells Tyrion (Peter Dinklage).

The Dothraki's movements are also very similar to those of horse-riding clans, so they took inspiration from movies like Mongol to have the Dothraki shouting several battle cries and wielding similar weapons.

The significance of the photo above is mostly that it offers you a chance to see Cersei Lannister seemingly recovering from some of the news that she's heard from the battleground.

Trump's approval rating rebounds amid North Korea tensions
All I see is that President Trump seems to be well in command of his faculties with regard to North Korea . But until such time as they do, we will be the most powerful nuclear nation on Earth by far.

From the preview for next week's episode we know Daenerys demands the defeated soldiers bend the knee or die, so this fits in with that dire offer.

Now here's a shocker: Jon Snow brooding!

Jon Snow has finally got his dragonglass, so what will be his next step? We know that Jon Snow is the son of Daenerys' brother Rhaegar, which means she is his aunt and not his sister.

Matsuyama knocks on the major door
It is the first time a player on the PGA Tour has recorded back-to-back eagles since Marc Leishman last November. Recent hard work tweaking his swing is paying off. "Kind of stinks because it sets me back there", Spieth said.
