The Apple Watch Series 3 isn't off to a good start

21 September 2017

One of the major selling points of the Apple Watch Series 3, which was unveiled alongside the iPhone X, is that one of its models comes with 4G LTE capabilities, but the feature is apparently not working properly.

Apple shares are down 1.82% on Wednesday following disappointing reviews of the Apple Watch Series 3. Analysts say iPhone 8 demand has been muted by Apple's premium iPhone X, which will arrive in stores on November 3 after a week of preorders starting October 27. Instead, it'll try and use the Wi-Fi connection, even if it doesn't have internet.

"It announced that 14 mobile operators across eight countries will support this functionality at launch", a report by Canalys said on Thursday.

The Apple Watch 3 was feted by Apple at its annual iPhone unveiling last week as able to make calls as well as send and receive data without a smartphone. When are you separated from your iPhone?

India wins toss, elects to bat against Australia
Earlier, India were off to a forgettable start with three of the top four batsmen back in the hut with only 11 runs on the board. The ball again was full and wide which could have left alone but Kohli went for an expansive drive which went in the air.

David Pierce from Wired said the Apple Watch Series 3 "is the next iPhone". "The total iPhone installed base now sits at around 517 million".

[.] the Apple Watch would replace much of what we do on our phones now-the calls and texts, the smart-home and music controls, the constant back-and-forth with our virtual assistants. Apple's potential buyers are spread across eligible and ineligible operators and contracts, and many will be disappointed. I originally thought it was a design decision not to include voice feedback with Siri on Apple Watch and I highlighted this is my original Apple Watch review.

If you're planning on picking up Apple's latest, you'll probably want to do a bit of research as early reviews raise some pretty serious concerns. The wearable draws from the same database, so if, say, you've joined a hotel or library wireless network on your iPhone, the watch will spot it and connect.

An Apple spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

This Is What Hillary Clinton Ate On The Campaign Trail
Clinton's remarks, made during an extensive book tour, were her most pointed criticisms of Facebook to date. There's no doubt they influenced the election: "We now know more about how they did that", Clinton said.

"The Apple Watch Series 3 is a decent smartwatch, especially for athletes, as long as you're willing to accept some of the tradeoffs (battery life for compact form factor, Apple's own apps vs. third-party offerings)", Nguyen wrote. "But customers in long-term postpaid deals with ineligible carriers often can not do this without incurring a financial penalty".

While Apple assures that the connectivity issue is not exactly widespread, they are continuing to monitor the Series 3 units as they become available to consumers.

To ensure the Apple Watch remains sleek and elegant, the company integrated a tiny electronic SIM and made the display itself the antenna.

Apple addressed the issues after two reviews of the watch from the Wall Street Journal and the Verge cited problems with connectivity.

MS Dhoni's Outstanding Glove Work Against Australia
After a frightful start, the Indian cricket team ended up with a highly respectable total of 281 with the loss of seven wickets. A lengthy rain delay saw the chase revised to 164 in 21 overs, with the tourists struggling to an underpowered 137 for nine.
