A winter storm watch will be in effect for Ashtabula County, northeast OH and northwest Pennsylvania between noon Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, forecaster say.
Today's high is expected to reach into the low to mid-40s. The winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. until midnight.
After that, however, it's back to below-freezing temperatures. The cold front will come through this evening.

By 12pm Friday and into the afternoon, we will transition from rain to a wintry mix, with temperatures around 35 degrees midday Friday.
What started out as a rainy weekend forecast has slowly developed into a wintry-mix that will produce icy conditions across MA.
