Special Austin prom crowns every guest a king and queen

"It makes me really happy to see them have so much fun", he said. The Lakes Church in Fruitport hosted "A Night to Shine" a national prom style event for people with special needs.

"Night To Shine" is sponsored by area churches.

Night to Shine is a prom night experience for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. He remembered telling his partner they were going to have a blast, wanting to make him comfortable and cut down on his shyness.
