Tourists have already started filing in ahead of the Opening Ceremony at Carraraa Stadium with 35,000 seats almost sold out.

Team Scotland was the first nation out into the arena for the opening ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia's Gold Coast.

Just hours before the opening ceremony, Australian state police said they had launched a criminal probe after a complaint was made overnight.
