The Apple WWDC 2018 start time is today, June 4 at 10am PT (1:00 pm ET).

New iOS updates are always previewed at WWDC, so it shouldn't be any different this year. However, following that leak from the end of December, blogger John Gruber explained last month that Marzipan is more like a declarative control API, and noted that it likely won't materialize until iOS 13 arrives in 2019.

Unlike the last iteration of the operating system, iOS 12 may not be a major revamp of the iOS code and see Apple bringing small, but meaningful changes to the new OS. Additionally, it also adds that there could be a possible redesigned home screen or updates to bundled apps that were originally said to be delayed.

So it's not guaranteed, but it's worth trying if you don't want to load up Apple and Microsoft's respective stock browsers. The new iPad Pro is thus expected to come with thinner bezels to make it look more 2018-ish though a technology like Face ID would be too much to speculate at this moment.

The report also points out that the new iOS 12 will feature an mproved, more advanced version of Apple's ARKit augmented reality platform as well.

Apple may also launch a $250 speaker with Siri integration to take on Android/Alexa-powered counterparts. The WWDC 2018, just like its predecessors, will give us our first glimpse of the new iPhone and the Mac softwares.

How fitting is it that Ovechkin scored the game-winner? He raised both arms and hugged whoever was next to him. Ovechkin's career has been a highlight reel of laser shots such as that one but also pained expressions in May.

Regardless, maybe we will get an official name for the next macOS update tomorrow.

Apart from the Macbook Pro, there are also rumours that Apple could release a more cost effective cheaper version of the MacBook Air sometime in 2018.

As for hardware, everyone is hoping to see the final release of Apple's multi-device wireless charging pad AirPower, which was announced in a keynote a year ago, but has been notably missing from any Apple-related news since.

As Apple kicks off its annual Worldwide Developers conference Monday, attendees can expect a quieter event than in years past. Users have been asking for this major overhaul for years now and it may finally be here.
