Apple kicked off its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday by sharing some new details about its latest mobile software, iOS 12. Federighi confirmed that, saying there's likely plenty of interest in porting iOS apps to macOS, and that Apple's been working on a way to simplify that process - all while maintaining two separate OSes to serve different use cases and device form factors.
"Here Apple is allowing users to see when tracking is enabled on a website - actually being able to visually see that with a prompt is breaking new ground". "What we did was we integrated the ability to share in the operating system, make it simple to share a photo and that sort of thing", he said, adding that "We weren't in the data business".
