My guess is we are about to watch Amazon get much smarter. Shares of Amazon spiked 3.4% to $996.46 in morning trading. Amazon is buying Whole Foods Market, as it continues to expand its foothold in the retail business. The all-cash deal, valued at $13.7 billion includes WFM debt.
